Hi there, my name is Cassandra (Cassie for short) and this is my personal website. I'm a costumer, convention goer, I live in Tennessee with my husband and several furry family members.
In 2007 I earned my Bachelor's Degree in University Studies. I started out in Elementary Education, changed over to Veterinary Medicine and realized in my last semester that I should have gone for costume design. I hope to make it back to school one day to do just that.
I made my first official cosplay in October of 2002. Earlier that year, Cartoon Network had aired a few episodes of Sailor Moon and I was immediately hooked. The show was abruptly cancelled so I turned to the internet for answers. I was delighted to find those answers and so much more. I learned about cosplay and conventions and soon started planning my Sailor Moon and Serena costumes for that Halloween. I went to my first anime convention the following year and never looked back. I won my first cosplay award (Best Craftsmanship Novice) in 2003 at MTAC and went on to win Best in Show in the Master division at both MTAC and AWA in 2006. I helped judge the cosplay competition at AWA in 2007, but have not gone back to compete as of yet.
Other stuff that keeps me entertained...
