FX Warehouse- Good source for any prosthetics or special effects makeup you may be looking for

Lee Valley Tools- Their pushknife is great for shaping sword blades, and they have lots of other handy woodworking tools as well

International Costumers' Guild- An affiliation of amateur, hobbyist, and professional costumers dedicated to the promotion and education of costuming as an art form in all its aspects.

The Costumer's Manifesto- An indispensable resource for everything to do with costuming

Milieux- Costuming sources for historical, science fiction & fantasy costumers

Alley Cat Scratch- Lots of different kinds of costumes and tutorials. Check out their LOTR stuff!

Cosplay/Anime Costuming and Masquerade Links- Looking for pictures from that con you went to? This is a good place to start.

Armour Archive- Excellent source for authentic armor patterns, useful when trying to create your own out of modern materials as well

Penwiper Unlimited- Has a craft foam armor tutorial under the cosplay section

Fabric Info and Facts- Information on caring for, dyeing, identifying, and sewing different types of fabric

Sewing.org- The Home Sewing Association is a not-for-profit trade organization comprised of business members who support and promote the home sewing industry

SavvySeams- Free original sewing patterns and projects

Threads- Good all-around source for sewing, design, embellishing and quilting information

Replica Prop Forum- Probably the best place to go for any prop questions you may have. They also have a costuming section.

Pattern Review- Compiled reviews about patterns, sewing machines, stores, etc.

Wizard Uniform Resource- collection of links to sites which provide various pieces for Harry Potter costumes

 

Miscellaneous

Katie Bair's Art Emporium & Petting Zoo- Katie has a little bit of everything, but the main attractions are her styled wigs. Very helpful wig tutorials as well

Nezumi's Cosplay Shoppe- Nezumi makes some very beautiful costumes. 

Facing Costumes and Props- Has some really nice examples of armor made mostly from plastic, and they do commissions

Primal Visions Design Studio- The main focus seems to be masks, but they also do props. Also, check out their animatronic angel wings

Genki Gang- Can't go to a convention without seeing one of these

Very Merry Seamstress- Beautiful Renaissance clothing and even a few movie costumes

Todd's Costumes- If I were rich, I'd buy his complete Xena outfit because it is superb
